The case will make it last a lot less than with the case and the things that are going to fail first will be the hinges it’s been proven by testers and even Apple himself doesn’t recommends using them.

yucky case. i've never broken a macbook. Keep it light and sexy. The very rare scuff doesn't matter. These things are tough as hell.

Just a tip the ram should be in the 2 and 4 slot. Idk if that motherboard was different but the ram looked to be in the slots directly beside one another.
